Birdie is an 11 yr old mare by Metallic Cat (LTE $637,711) out of Shine on Retsina (LTE $34,559) that is better known as Sparkles of Clinton Andersons. Sparkles was an Open Futurity Finalist and placed in the Limited and Intermitiate divisions of the NRBC Derby and is an own daughter of the NRHA and NRCHA Hall of Fame sire Shining Spark. Birdie went though Clinton's program as a two year old and sold as a three year old. She was kinda of on older ladies trail horse and back yard horse till I bought her at 10. Shes 14.2 hands and stout. I started her in the heeling and she has been awesome since day one. Ive won 25k+ on her and jackpots in Wickenburg AZ from the #8 to #11 this winter. She is very fancy broke, gentle as the come and sound on every way. She really could go any direction from ranch riding, Jr rodeo horse, sorting, team penning, breakaway, or heeling.
